Preparing for study
When you're preparing for university study, it helps to clearly understand what's involved, how you'll learn, how much time you'll need, and any academic expectations that apply. You can find all this information in our online course brochures, using our course search to find your preferred option.
Once you've settled on a course of study, you can get familiar with your chosen CSU campus by booking a personalised tour or attending a MyDay event. And once you've enrolled in your course make sure you attend Orientation Week (O Week) to meet our friendly academic and support staff, and your fellow students.
There is more than one way to get into university, and they don't all revolve around your ATAR. Our pathway programs can get you on track to your dream job.
You could receive an offer to study even before you've sat your final exams through the UAC Schools Recommendation Schemes. and have your selection rank adjusted by up to five points with our regional location adjustment scheme. Or you could make the jump from school to uni via our Diploma of General Studies and TAFE pathways.
We also know not everyone has the same opportunities, so we have access schemes available that can provide a boost to students with backgrounds underrepresented in university study in Australia. And we're an Elite Athlete Friendly University, which means if you have competed or officiated, or performed at a high level you may also be eligible for special consideration entry.
