Health and counselling

Your health and welfare is important to us, so we have a range of services and information available to help you stay in top physical, mental and emotional shape.

Health promotion

We hold regular health information sessions on campus, and provide a website with further information, community contacts and reliable medical websites. We have a particular focus on drug and alcohol awareness as well as sexual and mental health.

CSU student counsellors are always on hand to provide advice on general health, referrals to community health services, and confidential advice on personal matters. Our counsellors are experienced, professional staff, who can help with:

  • personal concerns

  • academic and administrative problems

  • referrals to community groups

  • stress, assertiveness and exam anxiety

  • workshops on a variety of topics

  • depression, loss and grief, abuse issues, family conflicts, relationships

Current students can find out more information about CSU's support services, or make an appointment through the Services & Support section of the Student Portal. Please note that access to the Student Portal requires CSU login information.
